Alternative Medicines
« on: July 08, 2012, 04:39:09 PM »
Hello, All!

Since there have been posts on and off about alternative medications (non-pharmaceutical drugs), I thought you might find this article of interest. It addresses the pros and cons of some widely-used herbs and supplements -- http://the-scientist.com/2012/07/01/alternative-medicines/.

If you can't open the link, please post this.  I'll copy it and send it to Demo and Daveman, and they can post it for you or send it to you.

It's got information on medical marijuana, probiotics, and other types of herbal/supplement products, and is from a completely reliable journal.

Interesting. I for one and nervous about taking so many supplements to treat POIS. It's tough when you're so desperate... :-\
Experienced POIS since 2002.
My symptoms include: brain fog, depression, physical and mental fatigue, memory problems, social anxiety, concentration problems, myalgia, inflammation.
