I have 40 years and have had to deal with some pois simptons last 8 years. Mainly I feel painful irritation in the urethra close to the penile shaft. It starts 5 minutes after ejaculation and continues for at least 48 hours. Because of this pain I have serious problems concentrating. Symptoms disappear almost completely after two nights of sleep. Until now, it appears to be a alergy problem. My intradermoreaction test is positive for fresh, frozen and centrifuged semen at 1/10 (mg/ml) and for frozen semen at 1/100 (mg/ml). I am thinking on trying desensitization. What to you think?

It is very interesting that you got tested for semen allergy, but the symptoms you describe don't sound like POIS symptoms to me, although they must be rather uncomfortable.

I don't have an opinion on desensitisation but I was wondering if you got rid of your residual semen completely after you ejaculate? I mean really squeeze out all that is left in your penis.
