Hello, I found out that what I have is called POIS recently, since puberty this syndrome has been ruining my life, and I didn't knew what it was, why I had that symptoms, I also have asthma, when I make strong exercises like running, I have the asthma reaction, and the asthma is worse when I'm in the 3 day POIS period (or maybe that "asthma" is just part of the POIS and not real asthma... idk)
When I'm in the 3 day POIS period I have the next symptoms: brain fog, physical fatigue, runny nose, insomnia, stiffness and pain in muscles and joints, high anxiety, fingertips dry up/burning, impaired memory, itchy eyes. All of them are mentioned in the next post
http://poiscenter.com/forums/index.php?topic=2338.0, It would be POIS type 1 & 2. But I also have symptoms that aren't mentioned like: dehydration (in all the body, including the eyes and mouth), slow breathing, swollen eyelids and irritated and dehydrated lips.
I also have oily skin and hair but I don't think is related to POIS.
Some years ago I didn't knew what was causing this, in that years I watched porn very often and the POIS effect was daily, so I was having the POIS thing always, and was horrible, I didn't realized that was due to masturbation and ejaculation until I stoped to watch porn very often, I started to think that it was a normal consequence of masturbation. Since then I've tryied to stop to masturbate, so I have been tried to masturbate the less possible.
Sometimes I have dreams where I end up ejaculating, and is something I can't controll, since they are dreams, and then I wake up with the POIS period and it last 2-3 days.
I've read that the diet can help you to make the POIS less horrible, In the forums it says that you need to avoid sugar, grain and soy, also just eat boiled eggs, what about scrambled eggs?
Can someone recomend me a post about the diet based in my symptoms?
I also want to ask If there's a way to reduce the POIS effect when you already have it, I don't want to always wait 3 days to be normal again, I want to know if there is a solution to have more energy, less brain fog and less itchy eyes, I want to live a normal life.
What I've been doing to avoid the horrible POIS effects is abstinence, but somethimes I cannot control that since I ejaculate while i'm dreaming because of the dream... and that can be very randomly and can literally ruin the next 2-3 days.
So, in conclusion, I want to know
*How to prevent the effect based on my symptoms
*Is it possible to have more than one type of POIS, and what to do in that case
*What you can do if you already are in the POIS period to feel better
I'm really desesperated to find help since I've had this since puberty, and it is ruining a lot of moments, It already ruined a big part of my life, and I don't know what to do, I'm very happy to find out that I'm not the only one and that there is this forum.
