Vagus Nerve Stimulator Implant

Has anyone had a vagus nerve stimulator implanted? 

It seems like many people with POIS have gut issues as well and vagus nerve stimulators seem like one avenue of treatment people with gut issues might travel.  If, for people like myself, POIS causes inflammation and vagus nerve stimulation can cause the body to counter inflammation, maybe it could help with POIS.

Just curious if anyone has had any experience.
