Poll to see examine any mental health issues of people with POIS and their relatives (first degree & second degree). Perhaps may suggest a genetic component to POIS.

I believe my mother?s side have some psychological issues. My mother has depression and her sisters also have the same issue and all have difficulty sleeping without the aid of sleeping pills. My mother?s brother also had depression issues and unfortunately committed suicide due to that more than an year ago.

I do not have any sleep issues or depression issues like my mother and her family but do get depression when in POIS alone. If POIS has any genetic connection or not I don?t know but would be interesting to research.
33 years old, POIS for around 12 years with increasing severity.
Major symptoms - Severe fatigue, back pain, unrefreshed even after 9+ hours sleep, pain behind eyes, very dry face, bald head with inflamed scalp, digestion issues and constipation. Very low testosterone and high glucose in blood tests
