Publicity
« on: November 27, 2017, 05:06:20 PM »
Hi all.  I've not visited here for a while so apologies if someone has already pointed this out. We are currently getting a bit of social media publicity which can only be good for awareness.  IFLS have made a post about POIS and so far its had 261 shares, 292 comments and nearly 1000 likes/emoticon reactions.  Of course not all the comments are particularly mature (!) but it's great to see this is being circulated around: http://www.iflscience.com/health-and-medicine/this-extremely-rare-postorgasm-flulike-illness-is-baffling-scientists/

Hi Mellivora, and thanks for the link.

I think all these recents new mention of POIS on the net are linked to the article refered to in the link you provide, that is :   http://www.smr.jsexmed.org/article/S2050-0521(17)30116-6/fulltext , a review of litterature about POIS, published recently in a scientific sexual medicine magazine.

This new reference could be added in the POIS wikipage, if anyone is at ease with Wikipedia editing ( which I am not).

You are 100% responsible for what you do with anything I post on this forum and of any consequence it could have for you.  Forum rule: ""Do not use POISCenter as a substitute for, or to give, medical advice" Read the remaining part at http://poiscenter.com/forums/index.php?topic=1.msg10259#msg10259

Raised some awareness about POIS on the Phoenix Rising CFS/ME forum:
