Hello Iamnobodi
I'd like to let you know how I see the symptoms to sex verses masturbation. As a youngster I remember being in fear when confronting sex for the first time. I was afraid to how my girlfriend would react seeing me in a POIS state. I came up with excuses to not have sex but eventually gave in and so we had sex. I remember 1st time being amazed at symptoms not as aggressive as expected. And relieved I was!!! It would almost make one think that the brain has control over this problem to preventing the symptoms. And therefore could be forgiven to think that this problem is psychological. (DHAT). But don't think I had no symptoms I very much had a feeling that it was somehow changing the chemistry inside me. (still less alert, less spontaneous, slower thinking, less happy feeling all this sometimes without realising it but basically a lower form of suffering) As months and sex experience goes along. I realised that changing particular positions and hard sex would make symptoms worse. Worse case scenario: have repeated rough sex over 1 to 2 days, perhaps also add extra symptoms by doing something that triggers known allergies to yourself, perhaps you have asthma or hay-fever or other and get one of them triggered too. I bet under these circumstances you could end up in such a dire situation that you likely wanting to be taken to hospital for breathing problems. This type of circumstance is normally rare though but has been reported and can also confirm this worse case experience. You can call it a POIS attack.
I think that if you masturbate and you try do it as slow as possible even if feels frustrating. For example over half hour or even 40 min and you basically do everything to prevent PE. You are basically teasing yourself. Your mind must never be in a rushed state. If you try and control yourself mentally you could repeatedly prevent ejaculation until eventually sperm comes out slowly sometimes bit by bit. In these circumstances the symptoms generally feel less aggressive.(Or come on much slower)
I think that it's because of these situations that one is looking into the vagal nerve for solutions in relieving our symptoms with a possible "diagnosis"! Although I think the root of the problem is more likely to be immune related. But if the root of the problem is ever going to be found, is a big mystery. Previously at one stage I thought the problem was more likely to be andrology related though.
I have to admit that if I program myself to be 100% feeling good and the days thereafter when I have the slightest thought of sex or see a sex scene on tv, magazine, etc. I can already sense something is already being triggered off in body. --->for me I see this part as an immune signal response. All the symptoms severity thereafter are therefore probably vagal related.
I can also confirm that NE is the most frustrating of all as I can get them at any moment (usually at night). Feeling drained the next day or having difficulty going back to sleep if it awakened me. It can sometimes also cause me to freeze in my sleep and make me sleep for much longer than normal but still feel fatigued when awake. This is most frustrating with daily engagements, obligations such as work, appointments etc. I would do anything to get rid of NE alone.
