smokers?
« on: January 05, 2016, 05:54:56 AM »
Hi everyone,

Does anyone smoke and what is his feeling about it (pleasurable, depressive...)? I'm talking anykind if smoke here (cigarets, cigars, marijuana...). I ask the question because when I smoke my symptoms are getting worst and I wanted to know if someone experienced the same feeling.

Please, at the least, use nicotine patch or nicotine gums or spay !!  You do not have to harm your lungs, and expose yourself to carcinogens in order to get nicotine to your brain!

Nicotine is causing the effect in the brain, hence the addiction, but nicotine in itself is not the source of the cancer risks. The cancer risks come from about 2000 carcinogens found in the cigarette smoke, like formaldehyde, benzene, tar, etc...  you don't need those for your experiment, even more since other way to get nicotine in your blood are readily available.

I want to be clear that I do not encourage you at using nicotine, which is very addictive, but if you freely choose to do so, choose the better options available considering the potential effects on your overall health.

Quantum, any thoughts about medical marijuana smoke?

Are edibles safer?

Marijuana smoke also contains carcinogenics, like acetaldehyde  ( https://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/anatomyvideos/000121.htm ), so tablets or other administration methods that do not involve the inhaling of smoke are clearly safer.  THC and cannabinoïds, the active ingredients of marijuana, are not carcinogens, so no reasons for smoking it and inhaling carcinogens along , if you freely decide to try those active ingredients ( again, here, for being clear, I answer Demo's question, but I do not advise anybody to use cannabis, even in safer administration forms, because, in particular, for the neurological side effects in the long term, like decreased cognitive functions https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cannabis_%28drug%29#Neurological ).
