I don't think some of the forum members tried it. But dr. Waldinger patients tried it: no result. But it is worth a try, because some patients of dr. Waldinger have NE and PE. But the side effects of Prednisone are very big.
POIS since 2000. Very bad since 2008. I knew that I have POIS since June 2010. Desensitization since March 2011. I stopped with desens in July 2016. I have 50% less POIS. And only 1 day of POIS. Purified CBD works for me, but I am allergic for CBD.

i had to take it about 10 years ago as a medication against partial facial paralysis for some weeks.
I did not notice a remarkable improvement in context with POIS-symptoms.

Early on when my POIS symptoms were much less pungent, I did try Prednisone for a while and it did seem to help a bit.
But then I stopped because of the side effects which are severe. Prednisone Side effects could lead to permanent type 2 diabetes.
More recently I did try it again - but it did nothing for POIS.
