Do you drink milk? Dairy produce?
« on: December 12, 2012, 07:49:59 PM »
I never drinked a lot of milk. Actually I am allergic to lactose. So the last 20 years the only milk I drink is the milk in my coffee. And since my POIS is bad I also don't eat yoghurt or other dairy produce.

I have acne because of POIS. And I have flakes around the nostrils when in POIS. I read that a lack of vitamin B2 causes flakes around the nostrils. So I bought vitamin B today.
POIS since 2000. Very bad since 2008. I knew that I have POIS since June 2010. Desensitization since March 2011. I stopped with desens in July 2016. I have 50% less POIS. And only 1 day of POIS. Purified CBD works for me, but I am allergic for CBD.

My average daily consumption is about 0,6 litres at least, I eat lots of milk derived products and so on.
The same about flakes round nostrills, it slightly resembles lupus buttefly rash on face:

And overall POIS causes skin to be more dry, that in turn causes lots of dandruff.

I'm allergic to lactose. I get a similar rash. A doctor told me he believed it was rosacea but it's relatively mild. Some people develop large pustules and that rarely happens to me.

Some other POIS sufferers showed me their genetic tests and I definitely noticed lactose intolerance and I think I noticed increased probability of developing lupus in both. I'll have to check.

About 2 years ago I had a bizzare reaction to skim milk in which it seemingly cured my POIS for ~2 months. It was unreal, it didn't feel like a drugged state but I had no pain, no fatigue, and my intellectual ability sky-rocketed. I still had normal emotional shifts so it wasn't a manic episode. It was great to feel how healthy people feel for a change and made me aware that it was possible for me to feel healthy I just have to find the key. Lately I thought it might have been an abnormal reaction of my body to milk opoid peptides, but that wouldn't explain the resolved cognition and fatigue.

However now milk doesn't affect me at all except for making me slightly sleepy so I drink it before bed to get to sleep easier.
Taking ginger tea, no wheat, fenugreek+green tea/garlic, saw palmetto, niacin, boswellia, huperzine, B complex and nutmeg. See my treatment summary post for more info: http://poiscenter.com/forums/index.php?topic=81.msg3513#msg3513

hi vincent, even i have experienced different reactions to milk sometimes good, sometimes bad.you are right about the milk opiod peptides cause when i stop consuming milk for some days i feel my brain is functioning a litlle slow and i feel very relaxed i dont take any responsibilities no tensions i just stay cool, but then when i start consuming again i feel very energetic full of confidence .its a drugged like feeling,a kind of addiction.

I love drinking milk because I feel calmer after drinking it.
It started ever since my first orgasm. It lasts exactly for 7 days. Symptoms mainly in the brain: extreme mental  fatigue, difficulty concentrating, inability to comprehend/retain what is read,shortened attention span, loss of speech fluency, cloudy mindedness, mild headache, and anxiousness

It seems the theory of opioid peptids in milk become a reality in a recent study, causing a strong addicitve effect to cheese .

As a reminder: Lactose and Casein are different things in dairy products and have different effects and different intolerances/allergies.
