Do it in the sea.
« on: July 31, 2013, 08:10:41 AM »
Hey guys!
I have been away for a while.. I have been soooo busy in the last month with the new job, sitting all day in front of a pc screen. Leaving me with no time to do anything else pretty much..
Besides in full summer my symptoms are way milder so as a reflection I visit less often the forum. BUT I want to talk to you about a very interesting phenomenon.

I went on holiday recently with my GF to wonderful Greece. And we happen to 'play' in the sea water away enough from the beach not be seen by other people. And I actually had an ejaculation IN the water. Never had it.

THE RESULTS: No POIS symptoms, laughing uncontrollably for a few seconds right after, feeling awesome and in great mood the rest of the day. Just a slight fatigue in the evening.

After this episode the following days left  I decided to start a 'trial' period. Every day I went offshore to start single sessions, luckily I'm a quite good swimmer. The results were always the same. Not only feeling great from the orgasm itself but also relieving the existing POIS symptoms developed inland the day before. (It's been a long period in which I don't use niacin either - too complicated to use for sex).

The relationship of cause and effect i think is strong, so there must be something about ejaculating in the sea water that stops POIS from happening.
It's not the fact of doing it 'en plein air' because one day I did it in the sea feeling great and then I had sex on the beach the same day (in the night), this time feeling fatigue depression blurred eyes and mild brain fog. Did it again in the sea the day after and I felt great.

AUTOIMMUNE THEORY
One thing I noticed. Semen in  water is different in consintency and observing it coming out it's quite interesting. It goes becoming kinda 'solid'. This could be the reason of no POIS symptoms, the semen in sea water is different (more diluted - salt? | cold water?) don't know how.

UROLOGIC THEORY
Being in water makes everything lighter, so somehow if the problem lies in the urinary tract maybe due to some deformation of the tract itself, the water makes it less contracted EG testicles floating instead of being pulled down.

ORMONAL THEORY
I insanely love swimming, orgasming in the sea maybe is related to a good sensation being present already. I don't know.

I just know that I eventually  I came back. And I tired to replicate it again at home. First I tyred to ejaculate only with my penis submerged with mild result and then in the bathtub in which i added loads of salt. I could tell the difference between doing with water and without.

The result is not exactly the same as in the sea but definitely much better than not doing it with water at all. Saturday I masturbated 7 times in the bathtub filled with salt. I wasn't feeling that great but i wasn't feeling that bad either. Normally i would die...

SO

I know I always come up with bizarre ideas but for me this is really something. This really is.
I invite all of you who have the luck to be by the sea and crazy enough to try it and to report back.

I know this is not the solution. But if I'm not the only one experiencing this it could help undertanding POIS a lot.

So go and spread'em in the ocean!!!!
After spending loads on supplements I found out that the only thing that works is abstinence. Full stop. And it's free.
Meditation if done correctly is great too.
Also avoiding computers produce faster recoveries and fewer temptations.

It doesn't work in my bathroom, maybe iodine (element of sperm) makes the difference  ;D

That's interesting to hear. When I was a kid I used to swim in the ocean all the time. But then as I got older (maybe 10 or 11) I would develop red spots on my skin after swimming in ocean water and my skin would feel a bit itchy. This went away after showering with fresh water. I also began to feel a bit squeamish about ocean water and ever since then I will only swim in clean, fresh water like a swimming pool. I don't know how or if it's related but I wanted to share it. (And today the only ocean water I go near is the ocean water fountain drink at the drive-in with the skating carhops!)

While i've never "done it in the sea," I too experienced consistent, partial relief from POIS after swimming. Back before desens, when my symptoms were especially severe, I used to get tremendous pressure behind my eyes post-O. But sure enough, about ten minutes of swimming would make these symptoms significantly more tolerable. It's interesting that someone else has stumbled upon this too.

POIS since I was about 15. 1.75 years of desens and I'm now about 80% POIS free. Still working through best practices for maintaining my immunity and administering my injections with my doctor. Email me if you have tips or questions!
