Over the last years I have come to this forum every six months or so to read up on the possible treatments of POIS. From what i?ve read it seems that (unfortunately) at the moment there?s no one remedy that works for everyone. I do have found something that works for me. Maybe it will improve the lives of others on this forum. The advice is simply to eat soybeans after an orgasm. You can buy them in stores which sell chinese/japanese and other eastern products. Look for them in the frozen food section. I pay 1,50 euro?s for 250 grams. After an orgasm I take two handfulls out of my freezer and put them on a plate. I pour hot water over them and in a couple of minutes they are defrosted. You put the whole soybean between your teeth and pull the bean out of your mouth. Eat the seeds and throw away the rest of the bean. It improves the following complaints:
Fatigue/sleep: I sleep better and wake up with more energy. During the next day I have much more energy. I do sleep less well the second night. I wake up with the feeling that I've slept like a log but with less energy than I would have hoped for. With the use of soybeans I don't wake up in the middle of the night, but it seems that I still cannot enter the 'deeper' stages of the sleepcycle. My theory at the moment is that my body is trying to overcompensate the second night to make up for 'the loss' of the first night.
Concentration: much better.
Motivation/lethargy: much better.
Irritably: no improvement.
Perspiration: no improvement.
Depressed mood/paranoia: not sure/inconclusive
Some other information: I do eat quite healty. I rarely eat meat and avoid gluten as much as possible. I eat fish and go to the gym 3-4 times a week. I don?t have a stressful life and I use vitamines (the normal stuff, especially vitamine D because I don?t go out in the sun often). I am not in a relationship and have a low sexdrive. My body doesn not tolerate alcohol or caffeine
