I'm very sensible to glucose during Pois.
I wonder if there is an interraction between insulin and Pois or if high glucose food exacerbates inflammation.
I had some similar thoughts.
I had recently tested for pre-diabetes. The first order of treatment was to loose weight.
I was 5'10.5" (179cm) and 204lb (93Kg). Got my self down to 184lb (84Kg) with an exercise routine and feel a whole lot
better, and insulin sensitivity is back to normal.
But the only thing that works for me (niacin) has a tendency to raise glucose levels. Fortunately
when taken once per week, there is little effect. Niacinamide also effects blood-sugar levels.
So there is a link. May mean nothing, but somewhere there is a link.
I bought a blood sugar tester, perhaps when (if) I have POIS again, I should test the levels.
Have you actually measured the levels during POIS? Or do you "feel like" the glucose is off?
