A microscope? Ideas on pois blod examing? https://poiscenter.com/forums/index.php?topic=4188.msg44773#msg44773
Pinhead sperm, a variation of the small-head sperm, is when the head appears as a pin with minimal to no paternal DNA content. The presence of pinhead sperm may point to a diabetic condition.

Thanks for this idea even if it is a bit late!
I gave up on microscopy some time ago as it was kind of a hassle and I couldn’t see the point after several occasions. There were some pin heads, but most of the time the majority seemed to have normal heads, thus the significance of these observations is questionable. An association to diabetes is probably an association to metabolic syndrome as well. Furthermore I think metabolic syndrome mostly equals lipid peroxidation as it means a generalized inflammation caused by excessive LPOs. Thus anyone with such a chronic inflammatory state probably has an altered sperm profile as well.
I was also considering to do some blood tests as you had mentioned, and wanted to take samples before and after an O. However when I decided to do so I simply couldn’t puncture myself. I tried to push the needle into one of the fingers, but it was not piercing and I grew so frustrated that I abandoned the idea. While I often get bloody scratches during work, I find it difficult to hurt myself voluntarily. It is also a problem that I have to work with my hands every day and such a wound can be painful for a week which makes grasping with it really annoying.
