Title: Do you have kidney problems?
Post by: BoneBroth on April 02, 2021, 04:56:31 AM
The inflammatory, autoimmune component of POIS might attack all tissues, specifically those wit ha hight blood flow such as the liver, kidney, brain and blood vessels. That might explain why we are experience so many diffrent symptoms. This poll focus on the kidneys. Note: High blood pressure is considered a direct symptoms of low kidney function. However, low blood pressure migh be a cause of lower kidney function as the kidneys slows down if they dont get enough blood supply. And low blood pressure is a symptom of long term stress. I personally think that POIS is caused by stress and gut issues (SIBO/IBS etcetera) and there are many users here that report improvement or beeing cureed when dealing with those areas.

Bonebroth, many of my symptoms are alleviated by a diet of only vegetables and meat (no sugar or grains) and intermittent fasting skipping breakfast. Most of the symptoms on your list come and go if I 'cheat' on this diet.

When do you eat the last meal in the evening and your first morning meal?

I eat two meals a day - the first around noon and the second around 5pm - and go to bed around 11pm. Both meals are high in calories mainly from fats like avacado and olive oil.

Avacado is healthy but it's also Fodmap, I should not eat it while I have SIBO.
