Post by: Muon on November 19, 2019, 02:47:27 PM
This can last for hours to days.

Potential related poll:

My 10 fingertips dry up, become numb in POIS. Drives me berserk but I don’t know why! Am I the only one? Can you poll that?

I find it hard to poll when I don't experience this myself. You should explain this symptom more in detail first.

Can’t provide more detail. It’s a very mysterious symptom and that’s as much as I know.

I usually experience feeling of compression in my legs (especially in the knee caps and calfs) days after orgasm. Something similar occurs in my head from time to time but it usually comes in pair with feeling of enlargening (at the same time!)

Slow-reacting substance of anaphylaxis (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slow-reacting_substance_of_anaphylaxis), like Leukotrienes?

SNS (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sympathetic_nervous_system) activation?

I wonder if anyone tried an angiotensin II receptor blocker for this symptom. Mast cells can release Renin and Chymase which lead to vasoconstriction. https://poiscenter.com/forums/index.php?topic=2301.msg34195#msg34195
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC518801/
They also lead to activation of the SNS and H2O absorption (skin changes)?

This thread could have something to do with the thread about circulatory changes:

Or it could be the muscles. Something happening to calcium influx. Prostaglandins can affect smooth muscles.

Could be peripheral neuropathy: https://youtu.be/6gfTFwJgIVQ?t=2002

Just saw my new dermatologist and I asked her,
“Are there nerve endings at our fingertips?”

Her reply amazed me:
Hundreds of thousands”, she said!

I’ve become increasingly aware that arousal alone gives me
lighter-than-full-blown-POIS-dry-fingertips symptoms!

Yes, the crazy-making kind! :)
