Title: for senior of group
Post by: vetrofragile79 on August 02, 2012, 11:06:40 PM
I would ask the older of group how they felt during their life with pois. I'm 32 years old and I'm feeling  done, I lost a lot of relationships, I have a few friends, I feel I have a very high potential that can not express. People turn away when I have pois probably because they see me off and unmotivated and ill. It 's very difficult to live with this feeling, I feel I'm getting older and life slide away without my being able to enjoy it in full.
What is your experienc about getting older..

I'm not senior but I feel like half alive during POIS. We can't live with its presence. Sorry for being discouraging but it's true.

I have felt that way a lot, but I have found relationships with people who themselves are suffering from illness or have experienced hardship.  I have been sick from surrounding myself with high achieving, even privileged people, but now I have found those who are embracing their identity as sick.  It's comforting to have nothing to hide from these people.  I feel that way talking to people here.  Find some people who have an idea of what it means to suffer, and you will find better friends!

Well, I'm older, but I haven't had POIS all my life... maybe just the last 10 yrs.

Yes, it's tiring! Any "rest or break in the storm" is always very appreciated.

For  now, the best we can hope for is that naicin or B-complex or testosterone can maybe help us get that little rest every now and again.

Something will come soon, but we DO have to move on the research. Or we wait even longer.
