After successfully making posts about POIS on /r/NoFap linking to /r/POIS and getting once around March 2020 in a few days around 200-400 new users to the POIS subreddit, some months later the /r/NoFap moderators seem to have decided to blacklist the term POIS and links to the /r/POIS subreddit
As whenever one makes a post there with those terms they get deleted automatically
Meaning that /r/NoFap may want to keep others deluded in the dogma while there are possible tenths of thousands of unaware POISers on the subreddit whose root issue isn't some "porn addiction" or any other pseudoscientific explanation but just POIS
Anyone has any ideas how to lift this blockade so we can effectively reach the POISers on those SR/NoFap communities who are led astray by superstitions and in reality have POIS?
Does anyone know or know anyone who knows the /r/NoFap moderators?
I have found it to be very effective to directly launch POIS information campaigns in SR/NoFap communities - a successfuly made effort can gather hundreds of new users in a short time
Unfortunately there is some sort of dislike or scepticism towards POIS
Anyone has ideas on how to spread POIS information more effectively into those communities that likely host LOTS of unaware POISers?
More users means even more activity on POIS communities, more potential theories/cures, even more appearance on search results, more media attention and more official doctor/researcher attention
We should coordinate efforts to effectively find POISers from all possible places before they get brainwashed by the SR/NoFap ideas and are unable to consider that maybe their "semen retention benefits" are just them exiting a POIS cycle

It is not clear why the moderators there have decided to block posts about POIS. I doubt there is a way to cancel this block. However, I suggest you could send a friendly personal message to one or more of the moderators, asking for an open discussion about why they have decided to block POIS on their subreddit.
No matter the reason, the choice will obviously stay their own choices. But at the least, you will know why they have made this decision.
The POIS Reddit is still there, though, with all the new members.
My main hypothesis, reading your post, is that they feared a loss of participation in their own subreddit in favor of the POIS subreddit. All channels and social media accounts and forums and websites out there are after more followers and more engagement from these followers. There is this fierce competition for attention and engagement, internet users cannot be everywhere at the same time and follow everything.
Do the previous messages about POIS still there in this subreddit, or they have been wiped out too ?

My hypothesis is that the NoFap community is very certain in their belief that this a will power thing (think their talk about a relapse), something entirely psychological. They are almost religious in that way, talking about this a personality development thing (you get success in life when you abstain) and being judgemental while doing so (you are weak when fapping). POIS being a more physical explanation (an illness) challenges their view creating cognitive dissonance especially since their have to be quite committed to their view in order actually stick to their goal.

Brilliant theory! I have encountered the same narrow bias in some music groups and in some self-help groups that I was involved in.

Name it "Pois Nofap" or Nofap Pois and
explane there with comon sense
what is Pois and what is Nofap

We were advertising POIS on /r/NoFap and it got a lot of attention and then they banned it so maybe we posted too often or they just didn't like that many people joined /r/POIS as they realized their root issue wasn't porn or masturbation but POIS

Someone who is diplomatically well versed and good at convincing people, can you message one of the /r/NoFap moderators on the mod list with a well detailed inquiry about why POIS got blacklisted on there and explain them how users on the subreddit may have an actual neurochemical or hormonal issue and may mistake it for porn addiction and come there and thus it would be beneficial if they can learn through /r/NoFap that they possibly have POIS

I must say that because of you, on nofap section on my national
country forum, some mebers there now knows about POIS.
It is mentioned there by some mebers and i think it is
from yours activity on POIS awarnes on Nofap reddit etc..
This is the first time in 15 years that i saw that
somewone mention pois in my country or region.

REMOVED's whole ban justification is that because before I was more immature on /r/POIS even though now when I returned I made good posts and did not antagonize anyone on the subreddit, that the mere fact that just because I USED to be banned means I should be BANNED AGAIN
And on top of that when I messaged diplomatically /u/REMOVED_NAME the owner of /r/POIS subreddit he DID NOT RESPOND at all he completely ignored my messages and then blocked me on subreddit
So yeah good job REMOVED if you are see this message, have fun with your more stricter subreddit in which now those suffering mental disstress due to POIS cannot vent because of all the new rules you added including the no venting one and enjoy the new reddit users who make an account due to finding /r/POIS not being able to contribute by sharing their story and get help due to them needing 20 day old account and at least 30 comment karma
The thing is before REMOVED became a moderator the original mods did not even have any issue or most users on the subreddit did not
It started when the trolls who raided the subreddit made the fake alts pretending to be helping me by spamming the subreddit worshipping me and then pretending that I made them do it
(EVEN THOUGH the ONE BEHIND it literally REVEALED me in Reddit DMs in 2022 march that he was the one behind it and even made a thread (it got pushed down due to the spam posts by the alts tho) that HE MADE MANY OF THOSE alts
Then REMOVED became a mod
Then he banned me cuz I mocked an user who pinged me randomly on a comment who previously had made threads like "everyone has POIS" or that POIS is caused by porn, masturbation and orgasm so I wrote a meaner type of message which I got then banned for
Due to it feeling unjust given that he was the one starting it and I just showed him my attitude but me getting banned I got angry then and spammed and insulted REMOVED and Commander_Meh
To an extent it was my fault back then but I also had less emotional intelligence
Despite having understood it and coming back to /r/POIS interacting in a good productive manner REMOVED thinks that DESPITE THE PRESENT MOMENT BEHAVIOR it is okay to permaban you
So /r/POIS has gone rogue and it seems like REMOVED has convinced the original mods that his over-controlling moderation policies are okay as he said that "other mods agree with him banning me" and /u/REMOVED_NAME blocking me and NOT EVEN RESPONDING to messages I sent him to discuss the situation meaning the mods are not even interested in looking at it rationally
I am one of the few who have made the most active contribution to the subreddit, helped it grow by 60%, encouraged discussions, increased daily post/comment activity and this is what I get by the thankless abusive staff
If the mods there were proper at doing their job they would answer to DMs and be able to rationally discuss it and hear the arguments but REMOVED_NAME seems to have brainwashed them
The irony is that REMOVED barely even contributed anything, before he became a mod he did not even make that many posts or comments or was even that active but he became a mod still
Someone who is in contact with the original mods should send them a message about this including the banning of me and all the over the top new policies
Also AN ANOTHER USER called /u/pois_sufferer got SUBREDDIT BANNED and then REDDIT BANNED just because he posted how he got cured by anti-bacterial means and that he thinks many POIS cases are bacterial induced autoimmunity
The thing is he never had even broken reddit wide rules and still got perma banned
So despite me DOING A LOT for the subreddit and having some Semen Retention/NoFap types get irritated cuz I showed them the truth and they did not like that their whole belief foundation of SR/NoFap is contradicted by POIS decided to troll and complain about how I am a bad user on the subreddit, the MODS INSTEAD OF UNDERSTANDING that I got targeted due to there being people who dislike the POIS idea due to their want to cope with the SR/nofap dogmas, INSTEAD the mods portrayed me as the inistigator even though most of my actions were REACTIONARY in response to antagonism being made towards me first
If THIS FORUM installed XenForo similar how https://raypeatforum.com (https://raypeatforum.com) has it WOULD BE WAY MORE POPULAR and VISUALLY AESTHETIC and we could have this as A VERY GOOD POIS COMMUNITY as it seems that /r/POIS mods are keen on sanitizing the spirit of it by adding overt regulations and disallowing more free flowing discussions

It feels like the /r/POIS ghost me every time they recognize me as seen now with ttzzeekk replying but stopping replying once he learned of my reddit username (unless he has just not seen this thread so far but I fear he may have seen it and decided to ignore me)
And the only mod who ever had issue with me was REMOVED so this whole idea that I must be banned is based on his own skewed personal judgement because he has an overtly neurotic sensitive personality while 85% of community have a neutral or positive opinion towards me but REMOVED probably told ttzzeek and other mods to ignore me by giving them a misinterpreted view of events or threatening them as he often threatens people by telling them he will block them or ban them and so on if they do or do not do x or y that he wants
REMOVED contributed very little in comparison to me while I literally brought in around 800 new users and kept the subreddit going and this is how he THANKS ME by banning me just because I posted meaner more controversial politically incorrect things a few times on /r/POIS all because he has a sensitive overtly politically correct type of personality

I'm a new mod at r/POIS so I do not have a lot of history with your previous infringements at the subreddit. However, it is clear to me that you repeatedly violate the rules over there. While you've helped the subreddit grow a lot by sharing information about POIS, you continue to display unending toxic behaviour. Here are some examples for the public to make up their own mind (see attachments). These are screenshots of messages from Acceptable_Click (Journey) to REMOVED_THIS_NAME (another POIS mod). The idea that the only mod who had issues with you was REMOVED is downright ridiculous. Many other users of the subreddit also had issues with your continuous spam of low-quality posts. This is the last time I am going to respond to this publicly.

That was after REMOVED banned me originally just cuz I responded back to some provocator on comments and then after a while someone extended my ban from a shorter to longer and I did not know who it was and got angry so sent that to REMOVED_THIS_NAME, at that moment I was in a more riled up mode as my symptoms were way more pronounced and I got worried that not being able to post for a while would make it harder to discuss info on possible causes/treatments
I now understand the mistakes in past behavior and when coming back to the subreddit my interactions were good and productive and I have not insulted or harassed anyone
The "spam" is a subjective definition - I feel like REMOVED has an overtly judgmental attitude (for example he banned /u/pois_suffering due to him sharing his bacterial theory/treatment and then someone got him banned from Reddit too even tho he never broke any Reddit wide rules)
Generally the activity on /r/POIS is low for it's size so I just make threads about various POIS topics to get activity going so the users interact and get to know each other and discuss info
As I said I have reflected onto my bad behaviors and changed them
So given that presently I act good and with right intentions in the mind I see it illogical to keep me banned just due to a few past infringements
