I know the thyroid is often discussed around here, but who else gets a pressure in your throat while in POIS where you thyroid is located? For me it feels like my thyroid is swollen and presses again my larynx and windpipe causing a weak, gravely voice and some difficulty breathing. I also get some mucus in that area that makes me constantly feel like I need to clear my throat. I've always come back to the thyroid being the main culprit and I feel this is good evidence of that.

not thyroid for me, but I have a lymph node in my neck that tends to swell up
