Title: Urinary tract and prostate microbiome
Post by: Vandemolen on December 02, 2020, 07:26:15 PM
My POIS doctor has his focus on the microbiome of the prostate and the urinary tract. There is a research that mice who do not have a part of seminal fluid they get sick. And when they give them that part they get better. My doctor thinks that POIS patients have a bad flora in the prostate.

My doctor thinks that POIS patients have a bad flora in the prostate.

Then why do I get symptoms from masturbation but not from sex (when using small pre-pack and bigger post-pack)? :-)
I don't believe it, sorry.

So despite using your prepack and postpack in both of those cases you experience no symptoms during an actual sexual intercourse if so it could be that the bloodflow is different so perhaps the microbiome is stimulated differently and hormones released disctintively.

I'm constantly feeling pulsating/ muscle twitching /vibrations in the perineum area its not painful but what the hell is up with my prostate? I do remember a few years ago when POIS started I felt a similar but painful contraction in that area from time to time also. The last week I'm getting burning sensation in urine but not painful. Anyone else experience anything like this?

I also have gene mutations that put me at risk for prostate cancer

I've got muscle twitching in other parts of the body. I'm use to it. It could be the brain that is firing. My brain doesn't feel totally normal though. Tension/relaxation problems? My body easily tense up and it's difficult to reverse it.

Burning in urinary tract can happen due to precum, sticky semen or prolonged low grade stress.

When I get an unexpected fight or flight response my diaphragm tenses up automatically and some other parts of the body too and it takes quite a time to untense it.

A woman who is a patient of my POIS doctor has a lot of UTI. The microbiome of her bladder will be examined. When her research will be a succes I am the next one who will get an examination. Not sure if the microbiome will be taken from my bladder or my prostate.

What's the name of your POIS Doctor? My POIS is also related to my bladder, I think it's because of semen going back into the bladder. Since I started low fodmap diet my POIS suddenly got worse and I have had bad pelvic pain in the bladder from this last O.

Any updates? I investigated my Gut Microbiome and it?s all messed up. I found a company who could test any fluid including semen, urine, blood for any microbiome abnormalities, but they are extremely expensive. around $950/sample
