Did any doctor ever helped anyone with pois?If you know someone can you give his/her contact informations?

i have now contacted Swedish rare deceases organization for their help
i think this is the way forward
general doctors are completely incapable of helping us
way to complicated for them
my local health insurance system is not built for rare deceases, more like common cold and detecting cancer..

Hi
I had to go to a private doctor and explain what was going on
As nhs docs have no clue, I was referred to an endocrinologist
Who practices in hormonal health

Hi Kasra,
I think you should see the POIS Doctors list at https://poiscenter.com/forums/index.php?topic=2575.msg22338#msg22338 .
The notes before the list itself will also help you know what to expect from a medical consultation for POIS.

You could try to find a doctor in Iran with a group of Iranian POISers that wants to work with you guys. Or if some of you found a doctor that is open to tackle POIS then others could make an appointment there as well. The next step would be to share the docs contact info here on POIScenter.

I was lucky. An endocrinologist was my first POIS treatment success after many failures with GP’s, urologists, psychologists, psychiatrists, sexologists, and others.

What was the treatment the endocrinologist put you on?
