Want to see the overlap in this forum of POIS and CFS.
-
Is that a clinical diagnosis for CFS or just symptoms of?
-
I had both CFS (clinical diagnosis) and POIS. I had all the usual POIS symptoms from the age of 16-35. Fortunately, both the CFS and POIS symptoms slowly improved over the years, i'm only experience the systems at around 20% intensity these days.

No.
But the residual symptoms can stand several days >:(
Bye, ;)

Hi Lithium!
Did you mention you have CFS? Do you feel tired all the time? That's exactly what I feel. CFS usually involves fever so do you have that?
I tend to feel cold all the time but sweat a lot (ever since my POIS started). Do you have similar symptoms?

My mom was clinically diagnosed with CFS. She was bedridden for about a year when I was in kindergarten. I've never asked doctors about whether or not I might have it too. I definitely see some similarities between POIS and CFS though.
PS. mmrraba, voting is disabled on this thread. did you do that intentionally? just thought i'd double check :)

I think that being a state of constant POIS over most of these last 7 years possibly could have caused my body to be in a permanent state that is nearly identical to chronic fatigue syndrome. I can't really tell though because I haven't had the willpower lately to abstain longer than a few days.
-
I wouldn't have said so until I started taking D-Ribose and realised I had no energy and was getting next to no physical exercise because POIS (whatever it is) was making me tired. Some of the symptoms were identical to a girl I know who was diagnosed with CFS earlier this year.

I' m pretty sure i also have CFS. somedays i cannot even stand up in the morning.
I often have the feeling that time goes by so quickly that i'm not able to manage it and i do things so slowly

There is something going on with the age of 35.
