Hello everyone,
I had low hemoglobin.
I'm taking iron since january 11 th 2020 (200 mg elemental iron a day)
I started Vit C 1000 mg a day a week ago.
Brainfog is gone. (i had this brainfog daily since 2008) ,i'm living the 3 rd day without it.
Regards.

When did the brain fog disappear? Just recently?

Congrats!
If you had this tested, could you post the results (picture?) here, also including the values in normal range?

And do you refer to general brain fog or post orgasm brain fog?

Congrats youcefrouiba. Did your doc prescribe 200 mg of Iron? That is a VERY high dosage. Iron is one of few supplements that are not healthy in excess, causes rapid aging. That said, I do recognize Iron deficiency as very critical to brain fog and headaches. I take Iron 16mg once every 2 days. When I dont, I get muggy headaches.

It's the iron.. and yeah vitamin C helps with iron absorption.
Iron is so important - for preventing fatigue and maintaining healthy testosterone levels too.

I had really low Iron levels when I was tested last winter. Thankfully it came to normal levels and remains there for now(thank you buckwheat) But I can't say that it had any singificant impact on my brainfog.
But Vitamin C - I've been using it on a daily basis lately- mostly after shampoo head shower or extreme expose to heat and it significantly improves my random body itching and brainfog, feeling of burning in my head/face.

Just an idea that it could be histamine overload (could have other causes too): https://www.histaminintoleranz.ch/en/symptoms.html#symptome
I only have those problems during hay fever seasons, I think my POIS is triggered by something else.
But Vitamin C helps for sure.
