For those of you who benefit from Quantum's prepack, or taking NAC to mitigate flu-like symptoms, just a heads-up to be careful with the new coronavirus that has caused major disruption in China.
This new virus, known as 2019-nCoV, seems to be good at causing major cytokine storm (not limited to lung), with elevated C-reactive protein throughout the progression of the illness.
Compounding that with POIS is probably going to be extremely unpleasant. I am thinking about using Quantum's prepack to lower the circulating levels of cytokines, in case of an infection.
Wash your hands, my friends.

A good immune system seems to be a key factor of ncov cure.
Smoking is a very bad factor too.
Out of China ncov didn't progess for the moment. It's a mystery.

Out of China, 2019nCov is not progressing, because PCR testing criteria is way too strict.
1. Tons of false negative PCR tests during the initial phase of the disease. (2-3 are common, there are patients with 7 negative tests)
2. Not testing --> COVID19 pneumonia will be considered as garden-variety pneumonia outside of China

My view is that during the coronavirus outbreak, we should not necessarily avoid taking supplements that help the immune system, even though a lot of us think there is an autoimmune element in POIS. An acute condition has higher priority than a chronic one, especially if the latter (POIS) has an unspecified origin and the former (coronavirus) could be serious.

Washing hands, not touching your face (eyes, nose, mouth), and maintaining social distance are still the most effective means for avoiding viral infection (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prepare/prevention.html). Please follow the instructions for your local authorities and health care professionals.
There is still no officially sanctioned therapy or vaccine for SARS-CoV-2 (the virus for COVID-19). Currently, only the antiviral drug Remdesivir (by Gilead Sciences) has been tested in humans with some effectiveness and safety. In the USA, the Center for Disease Control (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html) is advising to wash hands regularly, avoid large public gatherings and maintain 4 - 6 feet of social distance.

I think theres a strong possibility I have already had Corona these past two weeks. I caught it from my friend who works in a international restaurant in the city and his whole work were ill with coughs, fever , headaches. The symptoms i got were a headache, cough for a bit of it , sore throat, muscle pain and confusion and brain fog. My family got ill from the same thing as me and it affected my dad the worst he still feels weak and he had bad GI symptoms at the time from it.
What the good news is is that it didn't feel so bad at all I've had the flu which felt much worse. I think a lot of it is down to how your lung health is and I have strong healthy lungs. A lot of young people are getting corona with no symptoms at all.
I was taking liposomal glutathione at the time and it was making the symptoms worse, so please avoid taking NAC or glutathione
If you are scared about getting it or passing it on to others you should wear a mask. You are able to get it just by breathing in the air of someone infected two meters away. The virus is actually most infectious at the stage where the person is showing no symptoms so the only real way to protect yourself is with a mask and washing hands regularly.

Antidepressant fluoxetine (Prozac) suppresses replication of SARS-CoV-2 (SSRI)
https://www.news-medical.net/news/20200616/Antidepressant-fluoxetine-(Prozac)-suppresses-replication-of-SARS-CoV-2.aspx
Why I think this is interesting:
"Yet, when the researchers investigated which isomer was inhibiting SARS-CoV-2 replication, both had a similar effect, thereby ?underlining that the antiviral effect is unrelated to the serotonin reuptake receptor,? writes the team."
A lot of people have recommending antidepressants here on the forum.
I'm hesistant to go this road because I don't feel depressed (I'm usually quite happy/content with my life and only sometimes have the "unmotivated to work or do anything"depression.
HOWEVER, since I buy into the theory that POIS is virus-caused, maybe the main reason people on the forum have success with anti depressants is because of the effect on some viruses?
(Of course, certain effects on serotonine might also help with the general POIS associated feelings)
However:
"Furthermore, Fluoxetine inhibited neither Rabies virus, human respiratory syncytial virus replication nor the Human Herpesvirus 8 or Herpes simplex virus type 1 gene expression, indicating that it acts virus-specific."
(However I wonder about EBV aka HHV4)

Positive Epstein-Barr Virus Detection in Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Patients
https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3555268
Interpretation: EBV acute infection was found in COVID-19 patients. EBV seropositivity was associated with fever, increased inflammation and cellular immune response in COVID-19 patients. EBV reactivation should be considered in treating COVID-19.

I had corona virus around March time - tested positive in antibody test. I didn't lose my sense of smell like a lot of people did but for some strange reason all chemicals - perfumes, fairy liquid etc started smelling exactly the same as each other and not a very nice smell also. However I don't get any symptoms when I smell these chemicals. Before this I had no issues with my sense of smell.

Did it change POIS?

No POIS is the same and also the corona virus wasn't so bad for me, had a headache, sore throat, confusion/brain fog, fatigue but no fever, felt better after half a week but for a month I had shortness of breath when running or something, also had some brain fog at times. The flu and EBV virus have been much worse for me
