I want to know if a lot POIS-patienst have Candida. I have it often and I use a lot of antibiotics. I think that POIS also creates and
envirmoment in the gut where candida can grow.

i had fungus on my stomach an chest though, it disappeared when i started using vit d.

Was that fungus caused by antibiotics? Or was POIS the cause?
I use 50.00 IE weekly for almost a year now, but I still have candida. I have Pityrosporum folliculitis (looks like acne) on chest and arms, white tongue and white lips. Also candida on my scalp. I use Ketonazole shampoo for my hair, but after a month I still have it. For a week I use miconazole tube but I still have a white tongue. That’s because I am on antibiotics. I have a few days to go. And I hope the miconazole will help. Otherwise I wil, ask for Fluconazol (Diflucan).

It was independent of both. I don't have it now but my pois is has strong as ever. I don remember using any antibiotics when i noticed them.

Ten years ago, theories about candida were not serious. But the fungal infection seems more and more studied now.
It looks like gluten allergy.

Thanks for the update, b_jim.

Yes, pois = candida
I don't use antibiotics
But I use antifungal.
Antifungal = Fluconazole.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vicks_VapoRub
This has helped me big time for recurrent fungal skin infection especially the feet. I apply a thin layer that dries quickly. Anti-fungal cream from the doctor loses its power over time unlike vicks.

Does a peer-reviewed method for diagnosing candida overgrowth exist?
