Hello all, I am a new member, I am thinking about trying TRT. I was wondering to any members who have experienced improvements on TRT, how long did it take to see improvement?
If you guys could elaborate as to how long it took after starting therapy to see improvements I would be grateful.
My natural testosterone levels were 691 last time I got them tested, so my problem is not that I have low testosterone. Would this defeat the point of treatment for me? What do you guys think is the mechanism between TRT improving POIS symptoms? I theorize it may be due to HPTA shutdown and reduced immune response.
I would be very grateful from a reply from anyone who has tried TRT for POIS. Im at my wits end, POIS has been messing up my energy since I was 14 years old. I also have hashimoto's disease (no functioning thyroid) which further supports the theory of POIS being an autoimmune problem.
I am also super sensitive to MSG and wheat, I cannot eat any processed food without getting severe brain fog and mental confusion. I personally think that all of these conditions are interconnected.
The reason I am asking is I previously tried intramuscular testosterone for 2 weeks and noticed little to no improvement in my POIS symptoms.

I'm on testosterone patches. It took 2-3 weeks to start working well. Since 2009. Injections didn't work. My endocrinologist said that injections spike in and out of the system, whereas patches or cream mimic the natural flow of testosterone on a more steady basis throughout our system...more like "the real thing".
I've posted extensively here at the Testosterone thread:

Look or search carefully there might also be other TRT posts here.
I've also posted extensively in my earlier TRT years at thenakedscientists.com

Have you noticed a gradual reduction in POIS symptoms with TRT over the years or has the improvement remained at baseline since those initial 2 weeks?

It's been about the same since 2009.

Wouldn't T boosting supplements do that job as well ?

Wouldn't T boosting supplements do that job as well ?
I never heard that the potency of non-prescription boosting supplements is sufficient for serious TRT (testosterone replacement therapy), according to my doctors, one a primary care and the other one an endocrinologist.
Generally, I would be VERY cautious, there are spurious claims made far and wide in the supplements industry.
Best wishes,

How long did it take for you to notice a reduction in POIS symptoms? Did you O in your first weeks of using TRT and notice a gradual reduction or, was the effect immediate?

Tongkat Ali has been scientifically proven to increase testosterone.
