Same as the first two posters. Symptoms peak for me at the 3rd and 4th day and are extremely debilitating. Tried a few times to abstain for a month and the difference when normal was immense. Like Jeckyl and Hyde.

First symptoms to appear:  hypotension/fatigue, and slight stiffness/weakness in the leg muscles ( within an hour when nothing taken in prevention).  Also, it does not always happen, but if I sometime feel very hungry minutes after O, which seems to indicate a sharp decrease in serotonin, it is a sign that my emotional will be severe.

Other symptoms, within 3 hours:  all of my emotional symptoms ( irritability, mood swings, anxiety, lack of motivation, low self esteem, emotional intensity, ....), and still more fatigue, causing major exercise intolerance and sharply decreased work capacity ( even if I never have any cognitive symptoms ).

Hi, this is my first post, I'm soon 26 and there is a chance I always had POIS, but it became more interfering around the age of 16-17.

I chose 1-3 hours, altough some minor symptoms appear even before ejaculation, such as minor burning in the eyes and minor pain in the knees, in the right lower back and stiffness in the tendons behind the knees and neck.
these symptoms appear when I'm arroused for very long time (hours) and avoiding ejaculation.

In addition to the symptoms above, I get minor problem in the lower ribs (interfering in the gym), and weird sensation in both feet, in the arch area that touches the floor (some kind of stiffness and decreased sensitivity to touch).
Other symptoms- after more than a hour I begin to feel fatigued, diminished cognitive ability (brain fog), increased reaction time, tend to stare more. Without a lot of caffeine I can be a real danger on the road.

Emotional symptoms- somehow I get reduced self-confidence (which is already pretty low), avoiding social interaction (inclined to stay at home), lack of motivation to do things (in addition to the reduced concentration ability), and generally feel sadder with lack of creativity.

Supplements help a lot, and they are affecting the onset of symptoms (time and severity). The physical symptoms are the first to get significantly better, later the cognitive, and last the emotional. It takes at least 2-3 days to get rid of most of the symptoms, except for the emotional.
